1. Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your current favorite song, your favorite kind of sandwich, or maybe your favorite game. Any remark, meaningless or not.
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in your own post.
5. When others respond with a desultory comment, you will ask them five questions.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Are you happy? Unsatisfied, really, so...no? But in good standing with others around me, so...yes? There's nothing really wrong with life, but I'm stagnate, so that's weighing on me.
What makes you happy? Sarah, friends, and progress.
What do you want right now? Well, I have a Sarah and friends, so...
What are you most looking forward to in the next six months? Flogging Molly in a week, Justice in a month, and Saul Williams and NYCC in two. The CBS job if it happens in the next six months, or just any new job, really, would override the concerts, but, barring that and this run on sentance, the shallow pleasures of event experience will suffice.
Tell me something interesting. They've finally put together a working prototype for the gameboy-out-to-MIDI-in converter box for PUSHPIN, so I should finally be able to control music from my Gameboy Color with the Korg synth I just bought.

Need to register to vote in NY, giving me yet another thing that I'm not a part of in VA. I'll expect my image to start fading from photographs circa Back to the Future soon.
Tucker, you Bojo! These boards don't work on water, unless you got power!
...and so on.

| From the Psychopathia Sexualis |
[27 Nov 2007|02:12am] |
|
"B., thirty years of age, apparently untainted, refined and sensitive; great lover of flowers; liked to kiss them, but without any sensual motive or sensual excitement; of a rather frigid nature; before twenty-one did not practice masturbation, and subsequently only for periods of time. At twenty-one he was introduced to a young lady who wore some large roses on her bosom. Since then large roses had dominated his sexual feelings. He incessantly bought roses; kissing them would produce erection. He took roses to bed with him, although he never touched his genitals with them. His pollutions, henceforth, were accompanied by dreams of roses. He dreamt of roses that had fairy-like beauty; when he inhaled their fragrance, he ejaculated."

Start by going to the right to the wall. Then down and around the bottom going right to left. Go to the second opening and go up, then a right and a quick up then left, eating dots. Go up a second opening in which you are eating dots, cut right toward the inside and go up and left and up again eating dots. Make a right. Go to the right untill the first down. Go down and stay on the right side of the screen. Make a left to eat the fruit. Head left, then down. If you went straight down, you would miss a dot, so, when you are heading down, make a quick right-left and continue down and around the outside bottom. Go up at the second opening, go right, then up to the right side passage. Come out, and go up to the first opening. Go left, up, right, up, right, down, right, up, right, down, right, down, left, head for the fruit, then finish off the dots.

In case anyone was wondering how hot watching eight different fireworks displays in New York City is while on a roof in Bed Stuy, with a perfectly framed Main display in front of you and multiple dualing minor displays in all directions, then heading home to Inwood at 4 AM to the sound of private firework launchers still being set off in AMURICAH?
So hot.

On a less important note, VA people, I think I'm over the latest round of my bi-monthly emoty cycle. You may have noticed that you haven't noticed it. I talked to mom about it, finally, since she did go through roughly the same thing seven years ago. Aparently, the loss never stops hurting, but it lessens and you do stop talking about it. So that's good.
See you in another two months, posts about my feelings.
Now, where did I put those Evanescence lyrics?

MoCCA was pretty successful. I now have stuff from every Dumbrella comic except for Exploding Dog, although I did meet the guy. I'll hit him up later for a sketch at another con.
Brilliant show, other Dumbrella people, the film night and the roof night were definitely worth the lack of sleep returning to Inwood provided.
High Fives, all around.

Oh, yeah...I'm also due to graduate this month, I'll wankery-ly post about that later, when I have more time to be wistful effectively.
